RE: Assured Life Association’s Response to Coronavirus
Dear Members:
As President Trump has now extended the 15 Days to Slow the Spread guidelines through the end of April, we want you to know Assured Life Association (Assured Life) remains committed to providing quality service to its members; even amid this very challenging time for our country.
Over our 130-year history, Assured Life has endured panics, disasters, World Wars, even the Great Depression, but today the Society is a stronger organization having gone through those adversities. Our current financial position is strong, and we believe that together we will get through this challenging time as well.
Assured Life, and other insurance services, is categorized by Homeland Security as part of financial services which is a “critical infrastructure industry” and as such we have a “special responsibility to maintain our normal work schedule.” Colorado’s Governor has declared financial institutions, including insurance, as a “Critical Business” under current state and local shelter in place orders as well.
Please know that while Assured Life works to safeguard its employees, customer service lines are open to support you during our regular business hours of Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm Mountain Daylight Time; we are closed on Fridays.
In the meantime, we want you to stay safe and encourage you to be an active participant in following all federal, state and local governmental guidelines put in place to slow the spread of the coronavirus and flatten the curve. Important resources have been linked on our website for your convenience.
Sincerely,
Gary R Wheeler
President
